Purple mornings

MORNING! My favorite part of the day! Amazing, my moment – making some fresh smoothie and drinking Italian espresso…and then preparing breakfast for my husband 🙂 which is other lovely moment during weekend mornings.

This early Saturday morning, I decided surprise you with one fresh post and make your morning more purple, healthier and full of energy… And, I hope you are really hungry, because it will be an amazing combination. My everyday routine – feel your body with all those nutritional ingredients.

Banana – rich in potassium, vitamin C and B6, aid digestion, cancer fighter (fully ripe), can low blood sugar, reducing stress, preserving memory and improving mood

Blueberries – powerful antioxidant, rich in iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, calcium and vitamin A, vitamin C, dietary fiber, helps lower blood pressure

Cranberries – other powerful antioxidant, rich in vitamin C and vitamin E, anti-inflammatory, improve insulin sensitivity, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Celery – dietary fiber full of water, very rich in vitamin K, folate, vitamin A, reduces ”bad” cholesterol, stress-relief and reduces inflammations.

Figs – high in natural sugars, rich in calcium, iron, manganese, potassium, contain soluble dietary fiber and B-complex group of vitamins.

Nuts – high in healthy omega-3 fats, rich in fibers, vitamins and minerals.

Goji berries – called super food, rich in vitamin C, iron, selenium and other antioxidants

 Ingredients  

2 bananas

1/2 cup of blueberries (frozen)

1/2 cup of cranberries (frozen)

2 sticks of celery

1 cup of fresh figs

1/2 cup of almond milk

handful of nuts and goji berries

Add all ingredients into blender except nuts and goji berries, and blend until smooth. Pour into bowls, decorate with nuts and goji berries, and enjoy your delicious meal.
